How I used Reiki For Migraine Headaches

Some time back I wrote about how to use Reiki for cough and cold and today I will share with you how to used Reiki for migraine headaches.

I have myself got success in overcoming the problem of migraine headaches with the help of Reiki. I have shared my entire story in this video so just watch this video first...



Back to my story...

I learned Reiki out of curiosity. I had nothing else in mind. During that time I was suffering from severe migraine headaches. So after learning Reiki I thought why not try to solve this problem?

I was doing Reiki self healing regular. Occasional I was talking Reiki healing from Reiki practitioners in my family. I did this consistently for more that a year and thus I recovered from migraine headaches.

I am very fortunate. Many of my family members and friends are Reiki practitioners. It really helps to have family members who know Reiki! When you are in a bad shape, you cant even do self Reiki. In such situations you feel so good when someone does Reiki healing to you.

When the headache was severe I would take medicines. I always suggest everyone to continue any medicine they might be taking and consult the doctor regularly. Along with medicines I had added Reiki healing in your daily routine.

When I meet someone who has migraine problem I always tell them to learn Reiki. If you have not learned Reiki then you should first of all learn Reiki.

Recently someone did my Mudra Therapy course online and he contacted me on Instagram to know which mudra's are useful in controlling pain during Migraine attack. So I told him to do Gyan Mudra for 30 minutes while I did Reiki distance healing.

He felt the difference and inquired if I could teach Reiki on Skype. We were in different time zone so we did the first degree course in 3 days (2 hours per day).

Now its been 2 months and I told him the exact same procedure and daily routine that I used to over come this problem. He is happy with the progress but it will take some more months to get completely alright.

Reiki hand positions for Migraine

Now lets look at the Reiki points for treating migraine headache.

There are 3 main locations where you need to give Reiki for migraine headaches:

1. Third eye chakra
2. Crown chakra
3. Pain points in your head (during migraine)

We just need to give Reiki to these points for 30 minutes daily 2 times. Once your body forget how to cause migraine, you can reduce the duration.

But until then you have to follow this procedure diligently and consistently. 

How to do effective Reiki healing for migraine

• On days when you don't have migraine, you must to your chakra healing especially at Third eye chakra, Crown chakra and at pain areas in your head. When this is done, you can delay the migraine headache.
• When the migraine headache starts, you should immediately start healing or take Reiki treatment from a Reiki practitioner or Reiki Master. Even Reiki distance healing is helpful.
• Many people cant do regular work while Migraine attack is on. In this case you can just lie down on bed and continue to do Reiki as long as the pain is there.
• While the Migraine attack is on you might feel that even Reiki is not helping, even then continue to do Reiki. If you are giving Reiki to someone with migraine, you should continue to give Reiki as long as the pain is there or energy flow is on. You can take breaks however.
• When you do Reiki healing regularly, the intensity of the pain will start to reduce slowly and steadily. 
• One of the causes or contributing factor for migraine headaches is stress. Your daily Reiki practice dissolves stress and help you strengthen your immune system. 
• Taking regular distance healing sessions is also very helpful if the pain is severe or you want to come out of this problem faster.
• Have a never give up attitude. In the beginning the relief may be less if you have severe migraine headaches. Slowly and steadily you will start to feel better.
• This is the best way of treating migraine with Reiki.

Reiki Treatment for Migraine

• If possible take Reiki treatment from Reiki 3rd degree practitioner as they will be able to do healing at higher levels. If the cause of migraine headaches is at mental / emotional level, this will really help. Get this Reiki treatment at least once a week or take daily distance healing. 
• Even if you are a Reiki practitioner yourself, there is nothing wrong in taking Reiki healing from a Reiki practitioner or a Reiki Master. Just like a doctor can fall sick, a Reiki practitioner can also fall sick. The point is how fast and how naturally you get back to good health. There is nothing wrong in taking medicines either when it is really required. 
• The ultimate aim of Reiki is spiritual growth. And spiritual growth is easier when you enjoy good health. Reiki helps you in accomplishing both.
• The more consistent you are in your Reiki practice the better you will feel. If you increase your Reiki self healing session you can get back to normal health faster. 
• If you have severe migraine headache, you should do Reiki healing 2 or 3 times a day for at lease 30 minutes. If you do it 5 times a day you will get even better results. Give yourself 3 to 6 months for this experiment.

Reiki for Cough and Cold

Today lets look at how use the natural healing method of Reiki for cough and cold. Its not a big problem but still its uncomfortable. You want to get rid of cough and cold as soon as possible.

A few minutes of Reiki healing can help you recover from cough and cold when done properly.

Sit comfortably. Close your eyes and start Reiki. Activate your hand chakras with CKR (if you are a Reiki second degree practitioner) to make your Reiki healing more powerful.

• First of all wash your hands and do a Reiki aura cleansing
• Then place your hands on the 3rd eye chakra and give Reiki as long as Reiki flows. This will clear the headache, if present.
• Then place your hand on your face. This will heal the cold. If you do this while lying down on the bed, you will feel better and get faster result.
• Then give Reiki on your temples. This will calm you down, release the accumulated stress and relax you deeply.
• Then give Reiki to your throat chakra and then to your lungs. 
• Make a Reiki energy ball around your head and let healing happen while you relax on your bed.
• Finally give Reiki to all the other chakras as well so that your immune system is strengthens.

Additional Reiki techniques for Cough and Cold

• Along with Reiki if you can fast and only drink 3 glasses of warm water and 3 glasses of citrus fruit juices for 2-3 days, you will be able to recover from cough and cold faster.
• Dring Reiki charged warm water mixed with honey and lemon in the morning. You can also drink Amla juice as it has high vitamin C content.
• You can also make use of crystal healing. Just charge a 7 chakra crystal set with Reiki. Place it under your bed so that your body is energized while you sleep.
• If you have family members who are also Reiki practitioners, you can take Reiki healing from them while you relax and enjoy the healing. 
  
  It is very advantageous to have family members who have learned at least Reiki first degree. If you have family members and friends who know Reiki you can let them do a Reiki group healing session for you.
   

Practice of Surya Mudra with Reiki

Practice Surya Mudra while doing Reiki for 15 minutes. Surya Mudra is formed by touching the tip of the ring finger to the base of the thumb and pressing the ring finger lightly with the thumb.

This mudra increases heat in the body and gives you freedom from cold, cough and sinus problem. It also reduces stress and gives you a boost to your energy and vitality. People with high BP problem should avoid this mudra. You should also not practice this mudra for more than 15 minutes.

Lets look at the requirements for Reiki master degree course. I have trained many students as Reiki masters in Mumbai, Thane & Navi Mumbai. And from my experience I can say that the best Reiki masters are those who are trained rigorously.

Most of them were excellent Reiki practitioners and so they were selected to become a Reiki Masters. They had good experience in healing self and others. They had success stories to share.

Those who learn Reiki from me know that I insist on daily practice of Reiki. Due to daily Reiki practice students benefit a lot. When you practice, you have many success stories to share.

I strongly feel that the candidate should have some success stories in healing self as well as healing others before going for the Master degree. The candidate should also have good success in doing Reiki distance healing.

The idea behind this is that if someone is a good Reiki practitioner, then he or she teach others how to become a good Reiki practitioners.

If someone wants to become a Reiki master, I train them rigorously and do my best to make them a powerful Reiki master. If you have this quality then you can go ahead with Reiki master degree course.

How long does it take to become a Reiki Master?

There is 1 day of theory and practical training followed by hand holding as required. The time taken for practical training may vary from person to person. Hand holding means I will be there when you teach your first few students.

Every person has some strengths and weaknesses. We will work with every person to build their strengths and overcome their weaknesses and become a strong Reiki master

Lets begin the journey. Even if it takes a little longer to get certified Reiki master, it will be worth it, as it will make the candidate strong and powerful Reiki master. There are theoretical and practical aspects.

• How to manage your time and schedule events.

• How to do Reiki attunements for each level
• Topics to be covered in each level
• How to organize for materials for the event

In my opinion Reiki master degree is for people who are prosperous in life. So someone is prosperous and they don't have to depend on Reiki for a living they can teach better.

Reiki must be a passion, not a need. So ideally the Reiki master should be prosperous in life. At the same time, Reiki should not be taught free. When something is given free it is not valued.

What a Reiki Master can do?

As a Reiki master you will be able to pass Reiki attunements and train students in Reiki first degree, second degree and third degree. You will actually conduct these Reiki courses in my presence till you are comfortable.

Once you are confident of yourself and I am confident of your skills and abilities, you will be awarded Reiki master degree certification.

If you are in any other city, I can come to your city and train you. You can contact me and let me know of your interest to become a Reiki Master. We will then work out a schedule that works for both of us. You will learn pure Usui Reiki from me.




My style is hands on training. I like to hand hold the Reiki Master in the 1st few courses, especially during the attunement ceremony. Nobody can read a book and become a Reiki master. You need personal training and coaching. You need guidance even after the course is complete. Everyone requirements and need for support may be different.

Children who suffer from attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) can be difficult to manage. Many parents wonder how to calm a hyperactive child and stumble upon Reiki.

I usually ask Reiki students what is their purpose of learning Reiki when they come for the first class. Sudha, a young mother of a 5 year old boy told me "I read that Reiki is one of the natural therapies that can help hyperactive kids. I want to learn Reiki to help my son calm down so that its easy to handle him."

Most of the parents come to learn Reiki with the purpose of helping their hyperactive kids. They want to improve their concentration, their attention span, their ability to remember details, etc.

Parents of hyperactive children are very concerned about them. They find it difficult to control the hyperactive child. Even to take care of them, it takes lot of energy and lots of patience.

They go all over the place, jumping from here to there. Some hyperactive kids are fond of talking all the time.

Almost every month we have parents coming to Nalanda Reiki Center specifically to learn how to use Reiki to help their hyperactive kids.

They are willing to try anything that can help calm down the child. After working on many such kids I thought of writing this article so that it can help others as well.

After becoming a Reiki Master I came to know about so many problems that people are facing that I was totally unaware before.

Reiki for hyperactive Children

Those who practice Reiki know by their own experience that Reiki calms you down. So when Reiki practitioners see parents struggle with hyperactive kids they suggest them to try Reiki.

One of my student Smita who works as a teacher in a preschool has recommended Reiki to many parents who have children who demonstrate impulsive behavior, running and hitting others and various types of physical aggression.

One of the things I have recommended all such parents is to heal the 7 chakras and especially the crown and 3rd eye chakras. Most students have reported to me that this technique has worked for them when done consistently.

Lets understand this. We know that Reiki helps in balancing the chakras. When the chakras are balanced the corresponding glands in the endocrine system are also balanced.With Reiki anyone can become more calm, relaxed and peaceful.

I suggest parents who have hyperactive children should learn Reiki or go to a nearby Reiki center or a friend who knows Reiki.

If the Reiki center is far from your home then it is best to learn Reiki. Because then you can give Reiki to your child and you don't have to travel. Also while they are awake it may be difficult to give them Reiki. While they are sleeping at home, giving Reiki to children becomes easy.

You can give Reiki on the 7 chakras and the brain. This will calm them down. There will be positive change in the child's behavior even in the first few days of giving Reiki. With regular healing Reiki will make them more and more calm, relaxed and peaceful.

Reiki is harmless. It has no side effects. I have seen many people benefit from this. That is way Reiki is becoming more and more popular. Reiki is spreading all over the world by word of mouth.

Reiki is not being advertised on the TV. There is no Pharmaceutical company backing Reiki. Even then Reiki is spreading. Many of my students learn Reiki and fall in love with Reiki. And then they want their entire family to learn Reiki.

I have students who have given Reiki to their hyperactive children. They found some of the below results:

• Parents not called for naughty boys meeting
• Better marks and results
• Eats well, feels hungry
• Taking responsibility more than before

How to Calm Hyperactive Children


Reiki has a calming effect. Reiki relaxes you. Reiki calms you down. Mind becomes peaceful. If adults can have this effect then why not children. Many times when Reiki is given to adults or even children, they fall asleep.

In Reiki second degree you can give Reiki to anyone at a distance or without touching. So once you learn Reiki second degree you can give Reiki to hyperactive kids without touching even when they are awake and active or when they are extremely hyperactive.




How to Treat Hyperactive Children


There are many techniques to give Reiki to children.

• You can give Reiki hugs to children. 
• You can give Reiki on the crown and 3rd eye chakra while they are sleeping
• You can give Reiki charged water to children. 
• You can do 7 chakra healing regularly to calm them down over a period of time. 

Parents of hyperactive children are so stressful. They can use Reiki to relax themselves and release all the accumulated stress. They can charge themselves daily so that they are empowered to handle the hyperactive child. Reiki makes them more balanced. The best thing about Reiki is you can see the results for yourself.

There is no loss in Reiki and there is lot to gain on personal front as well as in dealing with the hyperactive child effectively.

Reiki has many, many benefits. Suppose the child gets hurt then then you can do Reiki to heal that or relieve the pain too.

Water is one such thing that is so essential in our life. If we could charge this water with Reiki, we open ourselves to unlimited possibilities. 

Those who have not yet gone through the basic Reiki training can also get good results by thinking positive thoughts while holding a glass of water in their hands. The benefit of learning Reiki is that, due to Reiki energy the process becomes much more powerful. Another benefit of learning Reiki is that Reiki can be used in so many ways to make your life better. This is just one of the techniques.

What is Reiki water?

When normal drinking water is charged with Reiki it becomes Reiki water. Water is all around us in different forms. Water gives us life. We can not imagine life without water on this planet. Water is there in our foods, the air and even our body contains large amounts of water.

Water is a good conductor of electricity, of energy. Water can be charged and programmed easily. So it makes sense in using Reiki on water. We can charge water with different intentions and purposes. One of the things we can do as Reiki practitioner is that we can charge water with Reiki and heal self as well as others. We drink water number of times so why not drink Reiki charged water? Now if you may be  wondering how to make Reiki water. Any Reiki practitioner can make Reiki charged water in 2 minutes.

How to charge water with Reiki

1. Hold a glass of water with both your hands
2. Activate Reiki and let Reiki flow into it
3. Let it be charged as you think of what you want (your intention)
4. Drink that water with gratitude

The water you will notice will taste different. The water travels and get absorbed into your system and help you achieve your goal.
