Uses of Dai Ko Myo in Reiki Healing

Uses of Dai Ko Myo in Reiki Healing

Dai Ko Myo is the fourth Reiki symbol to which you are attuned during the 3rd Degree of Reiki also known as Reiki Level 3A. It is also known as the "Master" symbol. Lets look at the uses of Dai Ko Myo in Reiki Healing.

Dai Ko Myo is a powerful symbol. It is said that Dai Ko Myo has the power of all the symbols of Reiki level 2, Cho Ku Rei, Sei Hei Ki and Hon Sha Ze Sho Nen.

Why Dai Ko Myo is so powerful?

Because Dai Ko Myo heals you at the Spiritual level. Spiritual level is the highest level. We are spiritual beings, isn't it? So with its immense vibrational frequency, Dai Ko Myo enhances the healing of the soul.

When you are healed at the soul or spiritual level, there are positive effects at the mental and physical levels as well. So when you do spiritual level healing many other problems get solved.

Let me share with you one case study...

Some months back Sharvari approached me for Reiki distance healing for getting a job. After talking to her over the phone, I had understood that she needs healing at spiritual level.

I could see that job was her main priority. But other than that she had other goals. She wanted to get married. Get rid of a person who was troubling her in the neighborhood. Spend more time with her parents.

I told her to WhatsApp me the outcomes she wanted from the healing. Specifically, I told her to mention the kind of job she was looking for. In addition to that, I told her to mention her other goals in life.

As the healing progressed, day by day she was feeling more in charge. She got a new job in her home town so she could give more time to family. The migraine headache which she had not even mentioned to me, disappeared! In the second month she found her soul mate.

So many things got solved which the spiritual healing she received.

The Meaning of Dai Ko Myo

Dai means great, Ko means glossy and Myo means bright light. Thus, Dai Ko Myo means 'Great Shining Light' or 'Great Enlightenment.'

Whatever we have gone through in the past or whatever we are going through in present, is the result of our karma. Since the effects of karma comes at various stages of life.

  • Some results come when you are young
  • Some results come after you get married
  • Some results come after you have children.
So it is better if a person is attuned to Reiki level 3 as early in life as possible.
Using Dai Ko Myo along with Hon Sha Ze Sho Nen you can help heal the karma at the soul level. This brings many positive change in the life of the 3rd degree practitioner of Reiki.

Dai Ko Myo increases the energy flow through the body and therefore it is a great immune energizer. It increases your immunity and helps to keep diseases at bay.

Dai Ko Myo almost works like a 'Homeopathic medicine' which removes the disease from the roots, without any side effects. It works at a subtle spiritual level, clearing the aura and chakras from all the blockages.

In the 3rd degree of Reiki we realize our divinity and our connection to everything and who we really are! It brings us on the correct path and closer to our purpose of life.

Dai Ko Myo strengthens the psychic and intuitive powers of the Reiki practitioner.

When we use Dai Ko Myo during Reiki healing, it brings greater and more positive outcomes. Dai Ko Myo is very effective for healing couple relationships and maintaining harmony in your family.

Dai Ko Myo can draw away negative energies from your home, workplace and from yourself too. Draw it on your chakras or on your family and friends to keep them safe.

How to charge your crystals with Dai Ko Myo

First take the crystal / stone in your left hand, cover it with your right hand and invoke Reiki. Draw Dai Ko Myo with your third eye and repeat Dai Ko Myo in your mind thrice.

Pray in mind 'all the negativity form this crystal has been removed and now I charge it for ______ (anything you are charging it for health, wealth happiness etc.)'.

Use it on the medications to reduce or nullify their side effects.

How to use Dai Ko Myo in emergency

Some situations require instant energy. For Eg.if you see an animal injured on the road while you are traveling, just imagine or say or draw  Dai Ko Myo and simply say 'Let it be healed and be pain-free.' It is not compulsory to elaborate as Reiki works for the highest good.

When you read about any calamity in the newspaper, just close your eyes, wave the magic wand (your hand) and say the incantation 'Dai Ko Myo' and make a wish. Reiki will understand your intention and then you just allow the Reiki magic to happen.

It may occur in infinite ways... maybe those struck by the disaster will get help in some unknown ways, maybe their pain reduces or something which we cannot even imagine, because the universe has boundless energies to offer!

Dai Ko Myo is used by Reiki Masters to attune symbols in their students. It enters through the crown chakra during the Reiki attunement. It reconnects us to the divinity which is undoubtedly present in all of us, which connects us to God.

Hence this symbol gives us immense powers which we can use not only for ourselves but for others and the world at large. Those who are attuned to the 3rd degree of Reiki are able to manifest whatever they want faster due to their powerful connection to the Universe.

Best Time To Practice Reiki

Best Time to Practice Reiki

I got an email this morning from someone who has been following this blog and recently completed Reiki first degree course in Canada. Reiki is so simple but when someone is new to anything you are bound to have questions. She also had many questions. Some personal, some general.

Her question that inspired me to write this post was this 'What is the best time to do Reiki self treatment?' The answer is subjective. What is true for me, may not be true for you. But let me share my thoughts from my 17 years of Reiki practice.

Is morning the best time for Reiki?

For many people the best time of the day to do Reiki is in the morning. I personally like to do Reiki self healing in the morning. Reiki kind of centers me. Reiki practice makes me feel calm and in control. Reiki fills me with positive thoughts and feelings of gratitude.

For many years I felt that morning is the best time. It was only after I took Reiki Master degree and started teaching students that my views become more flexible. I saw students who practice Reiki in morning and students who practice Reiki in the evening, both were making progress.

What if you do Reiki in Evening?

I have many students who tell me that in the morning they are in so much hurry to go to work that the only time they find to do Reiki self treatment is in the evening. It works for them. They are growing in their Reiki practice. Their healing ability is expanding. They are experiencing miracles. That's what is true for them.

I came to the conclusion that it does not matter what time you practice Reiki. When you practice Reiki consistently you will get results. There are many students who do Reiki after going to bed to get better sleep.

Consistency in Practice vs Timing

I have a Reiki student from Andheri, Mumbai. She has completed Reiki second degree and is very consistent in her practice. She does Reiki every evening. Her healing ability has made her popular in her friend circle.

She had so many issues in life when she first came to learn Reiki. Now, things are becoming smooth for her. There are many Reiki practitioners who are consistent in their practice. They have many success stories to share.

I sometimes come across Reiki practitioners who stop practicing Reiki when things are going good. The moment they face a crisis or a problem or when a Relationship needs healing in their life, they start their Reiki practice again.

It is not bad to start Reiki practice again. There is a lost opportunity. The momentum of positive energy that can be built in life is lost when there are long breaks in Reiki practice.

Is it OK to miss Reiki practice for a day?

If you miss a day's practice, its fine. The important thing is, to get back to your daily routine as fast as you can. There is power in following a daily routine for important goals in life.

Staying healthy, balanced and peaceful in important in these volatile, uncertain, complex and ambiguous times. Reiki helps you stay in charge of your life.

You have to be flexible. If I miss my morning Reiki practice, I catch up during the day. I like to do Reiki in the evening as well. I spend my travel time to do Reiki.

Many a times I get a call from someone for distance healing. I take out a few minutes to do Reiki.

Anytime is best time to do Reiki

Apart form my morning schedule, I do Reiki many times during the day. It may be for 2 minutes or 5 minutes. I take time to be grateful to Reiki for miracles I experience during the day. I take time to ask for miracles.

I take time to release stress with Reiki. I take many Reiki breaks. Many times I have visitors who are in need of healing. So these are times I get to practice Reiki. This is what I teach my students as well.

Making Reiki a part of your life

My approach to teaching Reiki is to help students make Reiki a part of their life. Reiki becomes so much a part of your life that you don't even think that you are doing Reiki. It just feels like, 'that's the way it is'.

That is real success. That is when your practice become beautiful, easy and effortless. I teach with this intention. What do you think about this? Please share your thoughts...

I am thankful for all the questions, comments, etc. from those who follow this blog regularly and also from those who bump into it out of Google search.

Well, that's the purpose of this blog. To spread Reiki knowledge, to share best practices and to answer questions.

When I teach, I learn more. That is my philosophy.

Hope you enjoyed this post and got some new thoughts!

Namaste!

Using Reiki to Heal Addictions

Can Reiki heal addictions?

Can Reiki heal addiction of eating, drinking alcohol, smoking, watching TV, chewing tobacco, taking drugs, etc? The answer is that Reiki can help speed up the recovery process when used in conjunction with other treatment methods.

There have been cases where Reiki practitioners have naturally given up a number of addictions as they progressed in Reiki. I have a student who was working in an Ad Agency as a copywriter. He got addicted to smoking, etc.

He came to learn Reiki from me when he had difficulties in his job due to stress. He was taking a weekly Reiki healing session and side by side learning the Reiki system.

By the time he completed Reiki second degree he on longer felt the need to depend on outside substances to feel relaxed and stress free.

There are many such students. These individuals were not intending to use Reiki to treat their addiction. That was not the focus at all. It was a positive side effect.

Reiki For Alcohol Addiction

Manoj was a young Engineer who wanted to learn Reiki for spiritual growth. He had some other purpose in mind but he did not disclose to me during the first degree course.

When he came for Reiki second degree course he shares that he was addicted to alcohol. He said he never missed his Reiki practice. As he continued his daily Reiki self treatment he felt less and less dependent on alcohol.

Usually he would spend his evenings with friends but during the 21 day cleansing period he spent his evenings in healing family members. He was touched by this experience.

After his Reiki level 2 he started coming to our Reiki center on weekends to heal others and help the new students. By the time he completed his Reiki level 3 he was a transformed man. He had introduced Reiki to many of his friends.

His wife was amazed by his healing. Since many years she was having back pain which started after she delivered her second baby. Her back pain had disappeared.

Some Reiki Masters feel instead of using Reiki for addiction treatment we should learn Reiki to clean, balance and energize the chakras and grow spiritually.

As a by product there will be many accomplishments for the Reiki practitioner including becoming free from addiction food, sex, sleep, nicotine, etc.

The reason Reiki heals addictions automatically is that when you practice Reiki daily, you de-stress your body, mind and spirit. You feel centered, in control and full of energy all day long. You are able to deal with the challenges and demands of life more effectively.

You start focusing on the important goals of your life. When you focus on health, on spiritual growth, on your job and responsibilities you naturally have less and less time for addictions.

Another way Reiki can help with addiction is in dealing with withdrawal symptoms. Just the gentle healing hands of Reiki can make headaches, pains, etc. disappear in minutes by bringing an energy balance in your body.

I have done Reiki distance healing to someone who undergoing treatment in a drug rehabilitation center. This individual shared with me that he got immense strength in dealing with this situation the moment he started taking Reiki.

Learning Reiki can go a long way in stopping the downward spiral of addiction. It will make the person mentally strong and increase his or her will power.

Reiki Principles

Daily recitation of the Reiki principles will make your self talk positive and make you more self aware. This self awareness helps you catch any negative thought that arises in your mind during the day and lets you release it and replace it with positive thoughts. This can speed up the recovery considerably.

One of the best way to help yourself is by helping others. Reiki can heal addictions faster when you give Reiki treatment to others.

To start with if you have not taken Reiki first Degree, you can do so and start giving Reiki to your loved ones, friends and extended family members. This will help you socialize more and get your focus on others.

Continue to take any medication that is prescribed by the physician. Stay in touch with your Reiki Master. Keep learning. Ask question. Keep him updated about your progress.

Attend all Reiki events. Take the Reiki second degree training. Practice Reiki every morning and evening. This will help you in multiple ways.

If you have any questions related to Reiki and if you need my support in using Reiki to treat an addiction I will be happy to assist you. You can call or WhatsApp me on 9820850475
